This week's edition of ON PIT ROW will include our views on the following:
The Buzz ON PIT ROW is...
What was the MEANING behind Junior finishing the race in the #5 car?
The four corners of The Fast Lap ask...
1. Is it time for owner-Michael Waltrip to say, "YOU"RE FIRED" to driver-Michael Waltrip?
2. Tony Stewart said, "If I could afford it--I'd quit right now." Would he really?
3. Should SPEED CHANNEl suspend Jimmy Spencer for his stupid comments about Junior's contract negotiations and Kelly Earnhardt-Elledge?
4. Should Juan Pablo Montoya "take a step back and observe for awhile", instead of trying to win races as Tony Stewart suggested?
Let us know how you feel about these questions or anything else that happened at Texas last weekend. If we like your comments we could use them on the air during tonight's show. Leave us a comment on the blog or call the show--toll free at 1-877-502-8255 between 5-7pm edt on Tuesdays.
If your radio market does not air any or all of ON PIT ROW-- tell them they should and listen to our show on www.racetalkradio.com Thursdays from 7-9pm et.

1. Getting pretty close to that day.
2. No. He's a racer - it's in his blood.
3. No. Jimmy just shot his credibility and he showed us his bias. Plenty of others have done that.
4. No, but he should be prepared for someone to open a can of whoopass. He's gotta be responsible for his actions.

**What was the MEANING behind Junior finishing the race in the #5 car?
He made sure Baby Busch got some "unwanted" attention. Hopefully it won't come back to bite him, with Kyle beating Jr. into the 12th spot by 3 or 4 points.
1. Mikey is just a little Wal-nutz right now. He might do that.
2. Like he can't afford it. Please. Besides he thinks that Jr's fan are ticked at him? Well, what do you think his own fans would be if he up and quit? He's my driver. I am loyal to the teeth but I would be ticked as heck.
3. Will Jimmy be Speed's version of Imus?
4. John Paul the Pope of Motorsports didn't come racing in NASCAR to step back. He came to kick butt. I have just been waiting for him to really start ticking the other's off. It's part of his strategy, I believe.

Our buddy Jeff Hammond was ON PIT ROW last night. He said that relief drivers used to be pretty common in the sport. He brought up a time when Darryl Waltrip ran relief for, Donnie Allison, and helped him win a race. Jeff thinks Junior has been looking for a chance to be more "Back in the Day" like.
