I will really miss Rudd and Jarrett, they have been a part of racing for me for a long time. I hope Sterling Marlin goes to the Truck series and has as good a time as Johnny Benson is having there. I don't think he's ready to quit racing yet.

It's true..."change is the only constant"!

I think Petty's future is tied to this year. If he can keep the car inside the top 35, he might pass the torch to Andretti or Chad McCumbee. The TNT thing probably helped in the transition. The positive with Jarrett and Petty is that they are spectacular in the booth.

Marlin would be good in the truck series...Jarrett and Petty on tv...it will be different with them not in cup but like anything times change....just as they did for the Yarborough's,Bakers and the rest from back in the day...

Charlie

The thing is - the Yarboroughs, Yarbroughs and Bakers were replaced by the Jarretts, Marlins and Rudds, not the foreighn/roadracer contingent that is coming in this time. The culture is changing, not just the names, this time.
