I don't think so not between Jr. and Hendrick..I can se Johnson leaving in 2010 despite his staements..and Gordon retiring..so Junior is the mainstay for Hendick in the future...

Hendrick would never offer Jr a lifetime contract anyway. Jr has stated that in the future he would like to drive for Richard Childress in his black number 3, and he has also said in the past, although less frequently, that he could see a return to DEI later in his career. Whith all that it would be difficult for me as a car owner to offer him a lifetime contract. I would try to keep him for as long as I could mind you, but with him being such a big star it would be virtually impossible for me to keep him forever.

Whether RH actually offers the contract or not, I agree that JR will likely not ever sign a lifetime deal with anyone. Because of that, Jr will never be a total equal on that team. That is my feeling anyway. Thanks for the comments guys.

Hmm...

Check my blog tomorrow. I have an idea about how this could play out.
