Some times people surprise you.
Sometimes they don't. There are people who are really good at certain things and we mere mortals can never figure out how they do it. Christmas presents are one of those things that some people just have a knack for getting the right thing.
ON PIT ROW Field Producer BethAnne Heisler is one of those people. BethAnne never gets enough credit for all the behind the scenes stuff she does. Most readers of our blog and anyone who visits the ON PIT ROW website have seen the great photos that BethAnne takes. She has done much more for us than we could ever hope to repay her for, even though we hope to start repaying her soon. Not only the photos but taking care of shipping out listeners prizes (get Dave the receipts) but all the other graphic design and printing has gone a long way to making ON PIT ROW and now Bench Racing Productions what it is.
This year BethAnne came up with one of my favorite presents of all time--the ON PIT ROW calendar. She put together a ON PIT ROW/NASCAR calendar that has her photos, of not only the drivers and cars of NASCAR, but Charlie and me interacting and interviewing the stars of the sport. The quality is spectacular, as expected, but the thought that went into the designing and production is truly amazing. I now even know when Charlie's Birthday is. As I paged through this first ever ON PIT ROW calendar, I was able to see just how far all the talents of ON PIT ROW have come--even if everyone isn't up front to be seen.
As we move ON PIT ROW to the next level we will be leaning on BethAnne even more to lend her unique and talented perspective to everything we do. Thanks BethAnne, for making 2007 end much better than it started.

I'm glad you now know when Charlie's Birthday is, but more importantly, you don't have an excuse for forgetting mine;)

That calender was a huge surprise and BethAnne did a fantastic job on it, as she does with all of her duties. There really is a Pit Crew and BA, Tony and Dave are all important parts of the whole deal. Steve and I have most of the fun, but it would be more like work without the whole team.

I never need a calendar to remember your birthday--in 2007 it was on Christmas.
